Welcome to the Soaring on Heaven
"SOH" is here to have a fun, for all virtual pilots of
Condor simulator, but also for training flight's techniques and tactics , and also for understanding scenery and weather.
On our servers of "SOH" you can fly in a few classes 24 hours daily, 7 days a week. Default classes are 15m, 18m, Standard, Open and recently also Club class.
Next two classes are enjoyable.
First of these is Real class. In this class you fly in the most real weather conditions, flies with all competition classes and also you will sometimes fly without PDA and becouse of that you need take pictures of the start and turnpoints. How to do it? Here is manual. In other classes PDA is always allowed.
Second class is Power class. In this class you fly shorter funnier tasks with window turnpoint.
Settings of "SOH" tasks: Start sectors:--classic-- size of semi circle with diameter 3km, upright settled to first leg with maximum starting altitude 1000 metres above starting point. -- Window -- it's size and altitude is written in the briefing.
Turnpoints:--classic-- size cylinder with diameter 500 metres. -- Window -- it's size and altitude is written in the briefing.
Finish sectors:--classic-- size of semi circle with diameter 1km, ,upright settled to last leg. -- Window -- it's size and altitude is written in the briefing.
Times: Jointime: it's size is written in the briefing (standard is 15 minutes). Race in: it's size is written in the briefing (standard is 5 minutes), Start gate closed: it's size is written in the briefing (standard is 20 minutes).
We used in "SOH" tasks all types of starts, in the aerotow start the altitude set on 700 metres AGL.
Start type is written in the briefing. Visibility of icons always 5 km and all views are allowed. Restore plane (Q) is allowed only in the mid-air collision. Turnpoint and thermals helpers are not allowed, exception are turnpoints window, but on flights withouth PDA turnpoint helpers (J) allowed and set on 10 km. Realtime scoring is allowed. Penalties and penalization: Cloud flying and penalty zone is penalize 60 points per minute and consequently in result brought over on time penalty. (1point = 10second). In column name "Pen."(penalization) in result table there are all penalty seconds. Result time is then inclusive of all penalization and average speed system rated from this time. This result then write to the result table ,where is column name "DateTime" and write date and time (UTC) processing result system.
Next change is integration status Crashed and Racing to the one status Crash!!!.

We also added some few small benefit for pilots flying on servers "SOH". First benefit is number of flight to five tries for every class and every task. In the Power class no limits number of flights! Next benefit is alternative sending flight data (IGC + FTR) on organizators mailbox. This alternative use happens at that time if you're disconnected from server and have you almost used full number of tries. Your flight will be added to the system that consequently will evaluate like next flight!
